Sea Kayaking in Plymouth
Plymouth is one of Britons biggest naval ports and there is tons to see and explore on a trip from here. If conditions allow you can have a great day paddling from Mount Batten to Newton Ferrers on the Yealm Estuary.
Sea Kayaking from Cawsand
The pretty little holiday village of Cawsand is a lovely sheltered place to launch from. It sits on the West side of the port of Plymouth but it is actually in Cornwall, not Devon. It gives you instant access to some quite spectacular and unusual limestone cliffs and caves. From there it’s just a short paddle around the corner to Rame Head where the paddling gets more serious and exposed.
